Our new Apex Wake Orthopaedics office location will open on November 19th. We look forward to serving the Apex community!

You are here

You are on that shaky old ladder you have been meaning to replace and stretch beyond where you should to get that string of lights placed just right. Maybe you have had a holiday beverage or two and decide it's a great idea to ride your son's new hoverboard. We know we aren't supposed to do these things, but we do them anyway -- because after all, it's the holidays!

’Tis the season for a spike in holiday-related accidents and emergency room visits that are expensive and time consuming during what is already a very expensive and busy time of year.

Thankfully, there is now a better option- Wake Orthopaedics announces the grand opening of our new Orthopaedic Urgent Care facility.

What do we treat at Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care?

When same day, walk-in access is preferred without an appointment, Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care offers a more affordable and efficient alternative to the ER for the majority of common orthopaedic injuries and disorders, including:

  • Sports injuries

  • Sprains, strains, & simple dislocations

  • Ligament tears

  • Joint, neck and back pain

  • Pediatric injuries

  • On-going nagging pain and cast or splint issues

Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care

(Located on the WakeMed North Hospital campus in the Physician’s Office Pavilion at the corner of Falls of Neuse and Durant Roads)

10010 Falls of Neuse Road, Suite 010

Raleigh, NC  27614

833-678-4682 (833- ORTHOUC)

Hours:  8 am to 9 pm weekdays; 9 am to 1 pm weekends and holidays

If you think that your injury may be life-threatening ALWAYS choose the ER instead of an urgent care. The emergency room is a better choice for more severe orthopaedic injuries and offers expanded resources for treatment if:

    ▪       Your arm or leg is severely crooked

    ▪       Bone has broken through the skin

    ▪       There has been significant blood loss

    ▪       There are other complicating factors such as multiple injuries, concussion or head injury, etc.

Whether it's the holiday season, sports season or any other season of life, Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care offers a convenient alternative to the ER’s significantly higher costs and longer wait times and has you covered for all of your orthopaedic needs.

We wish you a safe and injury-free holiday season!
