Taylor was born in Honor, MI and earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from Albion College in Albion, MI. During her time at Albion, she was a member of the Brits’ basketball program for four years.
Following her bachelor’s degree, she moved on to Louisiana Tech in Ruston, where she provided coverage for women’s soccer as a sports medicine graduate assistant. In May 2007, she earned her Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Sports Administration. Prior to joining Wake Ortho, Taylor worked as the head athletic trainer at Delgado Community College, covering baseball and men's/women's basketball teams. Before working at Delgado, Taylor worked for the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) where she served as an international athletic trainer for the Men’s and Women’s National Rowing Teams and Men’s and Women’s Judo Team.
Taylor is certified by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and is also recognized as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and holds certifications in IASTM, CPR, AED, and First Aid. She is a member of the National Athletic Training Association.
